London, Feb. 15 : England mid-fielder David Beckham has admitted quite candidly that his two seasons with the American football club L A Galaxy have been far from satisfactory, and he continues to look forward to playing with Italian football giants A C Milan.

Beckham, who will add another remarkable chapter to his career today when he walks into the San Siro for the 199th Milan derby, was quoted by News of The World as saying: "I've always said I don't regret things and I don't regret the two seasons at LA. They might have been disappointing in that we haven't won anything or even made the play-offs - but I've met some really good people and there are really good people at the club."

The devoted father-of-three is so desperate to secure a long-term deal in Serie A that he is prepared to sacrifice precious time with his children.

He explained: "It's going to be tough for the family because when you have children, the main decision is where the kids are going to be happiest and, to be honest, the kids are so settled in America and so settled in their school. Me and Victoria will always put our children before anything. That's the decision that, if something does happen, we will have to look at. Obviously, if we didn't have the children, we would move straight away but we have enjoyed living in LA and love living there - and the kids are happy there."

"I realised I wanted to stay (at A C Milan) pretty soon after I had arrived. To be honest, I had expected to go there for a few months and then return to the Galaxy. It didn't really enter my mind when I made the loan decision to stay there," Beckham said.

"I've been very lucky to have played in those games and this one will have a hell of an atmosphere because it's our away game and the stadium will be full of Inter fans," he added.

He also described Inter's Jose Mourinho as one of the best managers in football. (ANI)
