Munich  - Bayern Munich coach Juergen Klinsmann will be without France midfielder Franch Ribery for Saturday's visit to VfB Stuttgart, the club said Friday.

Ribery, 25, injured a shoulder in Wednesday's 3-2 Champions League win at Olympique Lyon and was unable to train Friday.

Klinsmann can, however, call again on Brazilians Lucio (flu) in defence and Ze Roberto (muscular problems) in midfield in Bayern's bid to end the year top of the Bundesliga for the first time this season.

Striker Lukas Podolski is still out with a back problem, while defender Christian Lell is also missing with a stomach virus.

Stuttgart will make a late decision on striker Mario Gomez who has not been able to train fully following a slight calf muscle tear nearly two weeks ago.

Bayern are level on 34 points with leaders Hoffenheim who have a home match against Schalke 04 on Sunday. (dpa)
