Balmer Lawrie & Co has announced its annual financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10. According to the financial report of the company, there has been a reasonable growth in the net profit figure of the company.

The annual net profit of the company for the fiscal year 2009-10 has been reported to be 117.29 crore. Balmer Lawrie has posted a net profit of Rs 101.61 crore in the previous financial year.

So there has been a hike of 15% in the annual net profit in the current fiscal year of 2009-10 as compared to the preceding year.

So far as the net income of the company is concerned, there has been a marginal decline in it in the year under review.

Balmer Lawrie's net income has been reported to be Rs 1,673 crore. In the fiscal year of 2008-09, it was found out to be Rs 1,697 crore for the firm. However, as per the company officials, the slowdown of the economy has affected the net income of firm immensely and it was the main reason behind this decline.
