Average female Mac user is pretty cute, but awkwardly dressed: Bluestacks
Tech start-up BlueStacks compiling data from 1.1 million Facebook profiles, and found that the average female Mac user is pretty cute, but awkwardly dressed.
Bluestacks, which produces software that enable Mac users to run Android application, said its compiled data and stitched together an estimated picture of female Mac users.
The start up explained that just nine per cent of female Mac users preferred skirts and only eight per cent preferred dress shoes; while mostly were found dressing down, preferring jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes.
Twenty-nine per cent of females with Apple computers were found having a great preference for blouse, and nearly 18 per cent having preference for halter tops.
John Gargiulo, head of marketing at BlueStacks, said, "The blouses were a surprise. Apparently, females who use Macs very much enjoy blouses."
The start-up cobbled together an estimated picture of an average female Mac user by using data from some Neilsen survey and from its own Facebook followers.
But you should take the finding with a pinch of a salt as BlueStacks itself admitted that that the portrait it painted of the average female Mac user was not scientifically accurate.
