Australia scraps floor price for carbon permitsThe Australian federal government has announced its decision to scrap floor price for carbon permits under the new trading scheme that will be rolled out in 2015.

The government said that it has decided to scrap the $15 floor price on Tuesday under the carbon trading scheme that is expected to be implemented in 2015. Many believe that the revenues from the trading could be reduced as the international prices fall.
