With a target to reach the top slot in the Indian luxury car sales market by 2015, Audi is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that it reaches its target well in time.

Notably, the company posted a growth of 65% in the month of May by selling 200 cars as compared to 121 cars in the year-ago period.

According to the release issued by the company, it has been able to clock this whopping growth due to the Audi Q7 4.2 TDi quattro, which the company claims to be the latest and most powerful version of the largest selling luxury SUV in India.

The company also added the fact that it has received a very good response from the consumer so far and the company will like the keep the growth momentum even in the coming months.

In fact, with Mercedes gaining its leadership back in the Indian market, the fight in the Indian luxury car segment has entered the next lap and the competition is expected to only get hotter in the coming times. Audi currently offers Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8 to the Indian consumer.
