Asus ROG Ally Gaming Console to be Launched in India Soon

Asus is planning to launch gaming console ROG Ally for Indian gamers soon, as per official account of Asus ROG on social network Twitter. While Asus has not revealed the actual date of launch or pricing of the gaming console for Indian markets, the reports suggest that within a few weeks, Indian gamers could be enjoying their favorite games with ROG Ally.

The price of ROG Ally with a Ryzen Z1 chip (12GB/256GB) in the US market is currently hovering around USD 600 and Z1 Extreme (16GB/512GB) model costs USD 700. The console has been launched in many regions on June 13 and it has received positive reviews from gaming experts. While gamers are impressed with the specifications and versatility of the console, battery life is a major concern. There were also some bugs which Asus claims to have resolved by issuing updates.

Asus ROG Ally can run a full version of Windows 11. This means that gamers can play games on this handheld device as they would on their PC. With impressive 120Hz, 7-inch full HD display and powerful processor, the graphics and quality are just amazing.

The console weighs 608 grams and offers a battery life of nearly four hours. In certain cases, users have reported lower battery life. In comparison, Steam Deck can run up to seven hours. Both the consoles have same battery capacity of 40 watt-hours.

Update: IGN India has confirmed that the gaming console will be launched in India on July 7.
