Washington, Dec 17: Actress Ashely Tisdale made her public debut in New York City after going through a nose job recently.

The High School Musical star revealed her new look while performing at the Z100 Jingle Ball concert to benefit Autism Speaks at Madison Square Garden.

Tisdale went under the knife to correct a severely deviated septum and realign her nasal bones after fracturing her nose twice - once from a car accident and once from getting hit in the face while dancing.

"I've known for years that I've had a deviated septum, " People quoted her as saying.

The actress claimed that she likes the way it looks.

"I like the way it looks. It is like it was when I was a little girl. I like that it still looks like me, " she added.

Renowned plastic surgeon Raj Kanodia, said that Tisdale's septum was 80 percent deviated and he is "ecstatic” with the results.

"Functionally her nose is better and cosmetically it's better because I got rid of the effects of the [injuries]" said Dr Kanodia.

However, Tisdale vowed never to go under the knife again as she feel natural is beautiful.

"I don't believe in plastic surgery. I really think natural is more beautiful. This was not about changing me. I am comfortable with myself, " Tisdale added.
