ASG signs a multi-million dollar contract with government
ASG has managed to sign a multi-million dollar contract with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C). The total worth of this deal is $41 million. The duration of the contract is nine years.
It is an off take of the existing relationship between the two parties. They have worked with each other in the past as well.
As per the deal, ASG will have to provide the PM&C with service provided for desk, desktop, server and network requirements. The Perth-based company is already providing project services to the department.
Murray Rosa, Chief of the Sales and Strategic Operations at ASG said that the company has been providing services to the department ever since 2004. And now with the current project, it would be able to use its expertise in the current field.
Year 2010 has turned out to be a good year for the IT services company. It has already signed $112 million worth of new contracts. This also includes the $23 million contract that it entered into with Western Australia's Department of Education and $13m deal with the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy (DBCDE).
