Apple’s Upcoming Music Service will be called Apple Music
According to reports, it has been confirmed by the technology company Apple that its upcoming streaming music service will be called simply 'Apple Music'. The company's music service will also have artist-focused social network element, the reports stated.
As per a fresh report, there will be separate profile pages for every artist within the new streaming music service. In their profile pages, artists will be able to post track samples, videos, photos and concert updates from where their fans can stream them.
While providing information on the 'Apple Music', 9to5Mac stated through the company's new service that artists will be able to share and promote their posts from other artists. In addition, users will be able to like the posts of artists and to comment on them.
The new music service of the company will be beneficial for a number of artists and their fans, but there could be some people who may find the feature irritating in a simple music app. Earlier, the technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, had included a feature in the Restrictions Settings of iOS 8.4 which allows users to disable 'Artists Activity'.
According to the reports, the company's new music service Apple Music, which will also be available on Android, could provide the same feature to users. In addition, there will be a number of same playlist and organization features. It will just have a snazzy Apple design.
The reports also stated that despite the new music service, Apple's iTunes Match and iTunes Radio will be retained in its new Music app. In addition, iTunes Radio will be improved with better mixes, as per the reports. Apple could announce about its Apple Music on June 8 at Apple's WWDC.
