Apple’s New iPhone receives a cold response in Canada

Apple’s New iPhone receives a cold response in CanadaMay be Canadians are not happy with the launch of Apple’s iPhone through the Rogers Wireless carrier in their country. The reason being that that country’s largest mobile carrier is planning to hold its subscribers with a three-year contract, with a rather bad offer.

The company is planning to offer Apple’s iPhone under a three-year deal and even not offering unlimited data option. As compared to the offer of AT&T in United State, Carrier is giving a third less calling time and lot less text messages.

Many believe that if this is indeed Rogers’ strategy, Apple will quickly reconsider its decision and in order to have a chance at reaching its sales targets, will divert many of the shipments announced for Canada to the European market.

There are also rumors that Apple already has announced that each store will receive a maximum of 20 phones and that the workers should not promise any upcoming ample stocks.

Rogers’ offer will definitely cut on its potential buyers as no one seems to be ready to get bounded for three years with low service and quality. On the other hand, smartphones, which are to be launched on July 11 already, have won a lot of media coverage and customer attention.

On the other hand a story was published on Tuesday by the Apple enthusiast Web site AppleInsider, claiming that Apple would not be selling the expensive iPhone in any of the six Apple stores in Canada. Rumors are nurturing everywhere in Canada but it is till unsure that whether the company will sell its product and if yes, then would it sell it under a tough three year contract.
