Advanta India, a well known seed company, has notified that company’s board of directors has finally given its approval to raise Rs 750 crore through various instruments.

In addition, the board has also given its nod to increase the borrowing powers of the company to Rs 2,000 crore from the existing limits of Rs 500 crore.

However, the proposals are subjected to shareholders approval.

Secunderabad-based Advanta India is engages in the research, development, production, distribution, and marketing of hybrid agricultural field crop seeds and plant seeds for agricultural use.

The scrip of the company closed today at Rs 575 on BSE. The share had made 52-week-high and low of Rs 755 and Rs 312 respectively.
