Accused of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts Under world Don Abu Salem, accused of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts was produced in a court in New Delhi on Wednesday in connection with a six year old case.

The court has allowed him to return to Mumbai for appearing before various courts in connection with other cases.

Court had issued a warrant against him recently in a case regarding an alleged extortion call to Rajat Nagrath, a south Delhi businessman, in 2002 demanding Rs 1 crore.

A copy of charge sheet filed against Salem was handed over to his counsel Arvind Kumar Shukla on Wednesday.

The pending trail can now take place. The charges might be proved or he might be discharged, this would now be debated in the court, said Shukla.
