3G Spectrum auction: Government revenue crosses Rs 40000 crore
It is a big the day for the Indian Telecom market. Every Indian was desperately watching that what will be the ending bid amount of the revolutionary 3G Spectrum.
The DoT and Indian government’s auction of 3G spectrum have crossed rupees 40000 crore on the 19th day of the ongoing auction process. This was the final value of the spectrum on 19th and at the end of the day the total revenue has reached Rs 40054 crore. The activity level of the biding was around 90%.
Taking the individual circles into consideration, New Delhi circle price has raised up to Rs 1550 crore while the Mumbai circle was reported to be Rs 1617 crore.
The Maharashtra circle gained a height of Rs 1020 crore. The target before the auction process was around Rs 40000 crore to 45000 crore. On the 18th day of auction, the bid has gained a remarkable height of Rs.9521 crore. Within the last 15 days of auction the Government has crossed the target of Rs 55000 crore.
