Manila  - Eleven people were killed Thursday in a collision between a cargo truck and a passenger mini-bus in the southern Philippines, a police report said.

Six more people were injured in the accident along a highway in Nabunturan town in Compostela Valley province, 960 kilometres south of Manila, the report said.

Police investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the collision. (dpa)
