Yuvraj Singh Foundation auctions memorabilia under Indian Cricket Dundee aegisLondon, Aug 17 : The Yuvraj Singh Foundation organized an auction of cricket''s famous memorabilia evening under the aegis of the Indian Cricket Dundee, an Indian version of the Barmy Army of cricket followers, at Lord's in London earlier this week.

Members of Indian team were also present during the occasion, including Dhoni and Tendulkar.

A charity dinner was also organized to mark the launch of the Indian cricket Dundee. The proceeds are said to go towards the benefit of underprivileged children and India cricketer Yuvraj himself is taking keen interest.

Among the items that will go under the hammer includes a match-worn 2011 World Cup Yuvraj Singh T-shirt signed by the Indian team, the bat with which he scored 113 against the West Indies during the 2011 World Cup in Chennai and also Harbhajan Singh''s shirt in which he took his 400th Test wicket.

It also includes a bat signed by the eight captains of the 2010 Indian Premier League, a shirt worn by Yuvraj Singh during the WC, and Gautam Gambhir's batting gloves with which he scored 97 runs during India's historic win over Sri Lanka.

All proceeds will go to the Yuvraj Singh Foundation (YSF).

The ICD, like any fan club, plans tours to venues and locations where the Indian cricket team is performing to cheer them on at all times. (ANI)
