Explosion at SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch in Florida

Florida (U.S.), Sept.1 : An explosion rocked the launch site for Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at Cape Canaveral in Florida on Thursday.

Black smoke could be seen rising into the air from the facility, Mirror reported.

The multi-million dollar private American aerospace manufacturer company was set to launch a recycled rocket this afternoon.

The rocket was supposed to launch an Israeli satellite this weekend.

However, there was no report of any injury. (ANI)

Washington D. C., Mar. 22 : Business magnate Elon Musk's second wife actress Talulah Riley has filed for a divorce for the second time.

According to the couple, they have been living separately for the last six months and planned to remain friends, reports TMZ. com.

Musk has co-founded Paypal and has gone on to help start the electric car company Tesla Motors and the private space firm SpaceX. Riley, on the other hand, has appeared in ' Pride and Prejudice' and ' Inception' and wrote and directed her first feature film, 'Scottish Mussel,' in 2014.

Their love story began with their marriage in 2010, but ended two years later. Again after 18 months, they remarried in 2013.

Washington DC, Aug 5 - The Tesla founder Elon Musk has decided to withdraw the divorce papers he filed against wife Talulah Riley. Again!

Musk, who was spotted spending time with Riley, had filed for a divorce in January this year and has now filed a request to dismiss his request, TMZ.com reported.

Musk and Riley have been on and off ever since they first tied knot in 2010. The pair had divorced two years later in 2012, but remarried in July 2013, only to hit the skids again.

Washington, May 1 : Elon Musk finally unveiled Tesla Energy, the new business arm that is designed to ending mankind's dependence on grid power and switching to solar energy.

According to the TechCrunch, Tesla Energy's first product is ' Powerwall Home Battery,' a stationary battery that can power a household without requiring the grid. It can work for homes, businesses, and even utilities.

The unit is about three feet by four feet in size and six inches thick and comes with integrated heat management and can fit either on the inside or outside of the wall of your home.

The battery is rechargeable lithium-ion, it uses Tesla's existing battery tech.

According to CNBC, the inventor said that the thing which matters in the long run is to have a self-sustaining city on Mars, to make life multiplanetary but he is hopeful that the first people could be taken to Mars in 10 to 12 years, CNet reported.

A private company founded by Musk in 2002, SpaceX designs, builds and launches spacecrafts and rockets into low-Earth orbit. The company's goal is to one-day send humans into space so that they can live on other planets.

US company launches first commercial satelliteWashington, Dec 4 - US space company SpaceX launched their first commercial satellite from Florida, in a mission that will usher in a newcomer in the global launch services industry.

The Falcon 9 rocket launched the commercial SES-8 telecommunications satellite for satellite services provider SES from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida Tuesday, reported Xinhua citing the California-based company's live webcast.

The launch was originally set to take place last week, but was delayed twice due to technical and engine problems.
