Tiger Woods targets victory at Riverpool post recovery

Tiger-WoodsLondon, July 16 : Winning is the only goal on which Tiger Woods has set his eyes as he readies himself for this week's Open Championship.

According to the BBC, Woods who is due to play yet another injury-ridden season this week is upbeat about securing a victory in the championship. The ace golfer who has sustained four left knee operations and neck and Achilles injuries, took a break from golf in 2006 after winning three Opens at Royal Liverpool in the year.

His name hasn't appeared in the United States Open tally since 2008 and he has undergone several injuries, a divorce and a change in his golf swing since he took a break from golf. However, he returns to the fields this week with a determination to secure a victory, the report added. (ANI)
