GoDaddy admits being part of Twitter account hijackingWashington, Jan 31 : GoDaddy has reportedly admitted to its role in the Twitter account hijack, accepting that its employee had fallen victim to a social engineering attack.

The company issued a statement saying that its review of the situation revealed that the hacker was already in possession of a large portion of the customer information needed to access the account at the time he contacted GoDaddy and used it against an employer to extort the remaining information.

Facebook records better than expected revenues

The world's largest social networking site said that the mobile ads represented 53 percent of its total advertising revenue during the previous three months of the year. The data has pointed that Facebook has seen a 5 percent increase in clicks on Like and Share buttons since resigning the buttons last month.

According to Mashable, the redesigned Like and Share buttons appear on more than 7.5 million third-party websites, and are viewed by Internet users more than 22 billion times per day.
