Montreal, July 20 : Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has tipped Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to win his fourth Ballon d'Or award this year following victories in the Champions League and the Euro 2016.

The 31-year-old forward has had an impressive season, helping Spanish giants Real win a record-extending 11th Champions League title before guiding Portugal to their first ever major international trophy in Paris this month.

London, July 28 - Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has decided to switch to Major League Soccer (MLS) after signing for Montreal Impact.

Drogba has joined the MLS club following after his second spell at Chelsea where he won the league title last season.

Montreal president Joey Saputo said that it was an honour to welcome Drogba to the Impact and the signing was one of the biggest days in club history, the BBC reported

He also said that his arrival would be beneficial to the club in every respect.

London, Apr 30 - Chelsea displayed a sheer resilient performance on Wednesday night as Jose Mourinho's side came from behind to trounce Leicester City 3-1 in their Premier League tie at the King Power Stadium.

Although Leicester produced a resolute first-half performance which earned them a deserved lead through Marc Albrighton in the 45th minute, Chelsea's veteran striker Didier Drogba leveled the score three minutes coming into the second half.

London, Dec 30 - Veteran Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has called on his club to start a new season in the New Year as he predicted that the Premier League title race would go down all the way to the end.

Jose Mourinho's side led the table by nine points last month and seemed set to run away with the Premier League, but only one win in their last four away games has seen Manchester City close the gap to three points.

And the margin would have been down to one without Burnley's stunning comeback at the Etihad Stadium as Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw, the Mirror reported.
