Spacey considering allowing TV cameras into his London theatre

Spacey considering allowing TV cameras into his London theatreWashington, Jun 23 : American actor Kevin Spacey has revealed that he is considering allowing TV cameras into his London theatre, to shoot a reality TV documentary.

Spacey, 49, has received many offers from TV bosses ever since he has taken over as artistic director at the capital's Old Vic theatre.

The reason why he never accepted any of those offers is that he felt that it would not be fair for the actors in his plays.

However, he has now admitted that he is discussing possible projects with the TV bosses.

"Generally they want to come into the rehearsal room and film ad nauseam, but the rehearsal room is sacred - actors need to try things and feel they can fail," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Digital Spy.

"The notion you can get actors of name and reputation to allow cameras in is very difficult. But discussions are still ongoing, ideas are being thrown around. I think there are ways to be able to do it," he added. (ANI)
