Rome - Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder was expected in Italy Tuesday to sign a new contract with Serie A champions Inter Milan after two seasons at Real Madrid, Italian media reported.

Sneijder, 25, had said recently that he preferred to remain with the Spanish giants, but the two sides are said to have agreed on a transfer fee of about 15 million euros (21.4 million dollars). (dpa)
