Sharif has inked secret ‘indemnity’ deal with Musharraf: JI chiefLahore, Sep. 4 : Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Syed Munawar Hassan has said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has signed a secret deal with former President General Pervez Musharraf that awarded clemency to him from being tried under high treason charges.

Interacting with media persons after an Iftar party here, Hassan said the PML-N was also a part of the government like the MQM, ANP and JUI.

"If it were not so, he (Sharif) would have never withdrawn the 48-hour ultimatum," The News quoted Hassan, as saying.

He urged the Gilani government to register a case against Musharraf, charging him of Nawab Akbar Bugti's murder.

Hassan also asked the government to convene an All Parties' Conference (APC) to discuss the Balochistan issue inorder to resolve the crisis as soon as possible.

Commenting on the continuous brickbatting between the PML-N and the PPP, Hassan said the war of words between the two parties has nothing, but only damaged country's interests. (ANI)
