Samsung rolls out Android 4.0.3 update for Galaxy S IIThe users of Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones, who are subscribed to on T-Mobile will now be able to upgrade their devices to the latest Android 4.0.3 version for improved functionality and performance.

The Ice Cream Sandwich was launched for the Samsung Galaxy S II yesterday evening for on T-Mobile users. The users can go to install the latest version using a T-Mobile support page. However, the updata is not available over the air and thus cannot be downloaded directly onto the phone.

The update can be installed through Samsung's Kies software for which a user will have to download and install the update onto a PC and then sync the Pc with the Samsung device for update. Besides the ICS, the update will offer other improvements in performance and stability for the device.

The device should be running Android 2.3.6 before it can be upgraded. -Mobile's page describes all the steps required for the update. However, if the users have any problem during the installation process they will have to call the manufacturer.

"The Kies update through Samsung is not supported by T-Mobile and we are unable to assist with Kies or PC questions," T-Mobile explained.
