Salman Khurshid to sue Aaj TakIndia's Law Minister Salman Khurshid has reacted to the allegations laid on him by TV-channel Aaj Tak of stealing lakhs of rupees meant for physically challenged people through an NGO run by his wife, by saying that the allegations are false and that he will take the channel to the court.

Aaj Tak had aired content showing that the NGO headed by Mr. Khurshid was involved in unfairly handling money meant for physically challenged people in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Khurshid said that he will challenge the legations in court against the channel.

The minister also responded to the calls from former activist Arvind Kejriwal, who cited the TV report to say that Mr. Khurshid should resign and his wife should be arrested. Mr. Khurshid said that Mr. Kejriwal does not deserve a reply but indicated that he will be dealt with in due course.

Mr. Kejriwal, who recently launched a new anti-graft political party, is also planning to lead a march to Prime Minister's house tomorrow to pressurize the government on the demand for Mr. Khurshid's resignation.

Speaking from London, Mr. Khurshid said that the allegations are false and his NGO has been working for 15 years giving out materials to the needy. He also pointed out that Uttar Pradesh is his constituency nd that he has not cheated his constituency.
