Cairo, March 4 : A retrial for Egypt''s former President Hosni Mubarak, his two sons and former interior minister, is set to open on April 13, official MENA news agency reported on Sunday.

Samir Abu Maati, the head of Cairo Appeals Court, said the court has set April 13 to retry Mubarak, his two sons, former Interior Minister Habib el-Adli and his six assistants over involvement in the deaths of protesters, according to the report.

Mubarak was sentenced to life imprisonment in the first trial. (Xinhua-ANI)
