Manila - The Philippines on Thursday condemned the series of terrorist attacks in India's financial capital of Mumbai that killed 101 people and injured 287.
"The entire Filipino nation and Filipinos around the world mourn with the families of those who died and were hurt because of the Mumbai attacks," said deputy presidential spokesman Anthony Golez.
Mumbai, India’s financial capital again became a terrifying battleground, complete with gun battles, explosions and a raging fire last night.
At least 101 people, including six foreign tourists were killed in the city last night after gunmen turned it into a war zone, shooting people in luxury hotels and setting off explosions in one of the worst terrorist attacks in the country's history. In response, police killed four gunmen and also arrested nine suspected terrorists from the city.

Sydney - Australian holidaymaker David Coker told Thursday of how gunmen burst into the popular Leopold Cafe in Mumbai and sprayed its diners with automatic rifle fire.
Coker, 23, was in India's financial capital with girlfriend Kate Anstee, 24, to celebrate their graduation from university.
A bullet entered Anstee's leg, smashing her thigh bone.
