Foreigners’ Registration Office issues notices to Pune collegesPune, Apr 27: The Foreigners'' Registration Office (FRO) has issued notices to college authorities in Pune to provide information about foreign students. The notices have been issued to keep a check on the activities of foreign students.

Guidelines pertaining to admissions and other information about foreign students have been framed for colleges. The colleges will now have to report to the police if these students are involved in illegal activities and misbehaviour.

Woman killed in Vrindavan temple stampedeVrindavan (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 27 : One woman was killed and another injured in a stampede at the Bankey Bihari Temple here on Monday.

According to police, the incident occurred when a large number of devotees gathered to offer prayers on the occasion of Hindu festival ''Akshaya Tritiya''.

The one deceased identified as Rama Maheshwari, a 58-year-old from Kanpur. Another injured woman is from New Delhi who was seriously injured, police added.

Trivitron ties knot with BioSystems

Trivitron ties knot with BioSystemsMedical technology products manufacturer Trivitron Group of Companies, has formed an alliance with BioSystems, Spain, to manufacture in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) reagents.

It should be noted that this is the third manufacturing joint venture for Trivitron in recent times. Earlier, the firm has signed joint ventures with Brandon Medical for making operation theatre bulbs and Aloka of Japan for portable ultrasound scanners.
