''Poker Face'', the follow-up to her January chart-topper ''Just Dance'', vaults from four to the top spot this week.

Rapper Flo Rida remains at two with ''Right Round'', while last week''s chart-topper, the Comic Relief version of ''Islands In The Stream'', slips to three, reports the BBC.

Meanwhile, Ronan Keating has debuted at number one on the UK albums chart with ''Songs For My Mother''.

London, March 19: Lady Gaga has fellow pop star Amy Winehouse to thank for her rise to fame in the music world.

The 22-year-old, who has topping hit singles Just Dance and Pokerface to her credit, revealed Amy pioneered and put into fashion what was previously dubbed “strange” in the genre.

And the blonde singer is thankful for her senior’s trend setting, which led to a revised mainstream that made room for performers like her.

Washington, March 19: Lady Gaga may still have been doing drugs had her father not stepped in and made her kick the serious habit.

The pop sensation, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, revealed that she had had a drug past while she was younger.

She thanked her father for helping her realise where she was headed.
