Court Case filed against GNC

A court case has been filed against GNC. Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum has alleged that GNC violated the Oregon Unlawful Trade Practices Act by "selling dietary supplements having dangerous ingredients".

According to the court papers, the health-and-nutrition-products retailer has sold products that either had picamilon or BMPEA. Both of them are not legally qualified as dietary ingredients. The filing includes that picamilon is not used in America, but allowed in many other nations. The World Anti-Doping Organization has banned the second component, BMPEA.
