Partnership between an Indian and Pakistani comes out in flying colorsA partnership between an Indian Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani doubles partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has reached their set goals in spite of facing defeat in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on Wednesday.

This strange pairing has created news at the All England Club this year with their 'Stop War, Start Tennis' jackets. They were beaten 6-4, 7-6, 6-2 by Juergen Melzer of Austria and Germany's Philipp Petzschner.

In the men's doubles semi-finals, they have to face South Africa's Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman of Belgium.

The last eight section of this Grand slam would be first time experienced by any Pakistani and Qureshi is very hopeful to progress further.

Bopana and Qureshi both have played their best to reach quarter finals of Grand Slam.

Both have been knocked down by the Melzer and Petzschner, but Qureshi said that this defeat has taught him a lot and has opened his eyes for the upcoming US Open doubles this year.

He also stated that playing quarter finals for the first time was little shaky experience but on the whole it was a learning experience.

Further they both told that they are happy to reach quarterfinals as they have set their targets to reach Quarter finals and are very positive towards upcoming events.

He claims that there is another Grand slam scheduled this year in which they will show few magical moments and will use their experience to win the game.
