All the speculations that h Pakistani coach could be a foreigner have come to an end with the job being offered to the former Pakistani great bowler; popularly know as the toe-crusher because of his Yorkers, Waqar Younis. The former great has been offered by the PCB a contract to coach the team till December 2011. He would be the 4th coach for Pakistan if he signs the contract and sends back to the PCB as currently he is Sydney.

PCB chairman Ijaz Butt said that he had been offered the position of head coach in the contract and is expected to sign it as the team needs his expert assistance.

Waqar, meanwhile is believed to have a few concerns with the contract and will raise those points with the board.

This would be a very important step for the PCB as the World Cup is going to be held in 2011.

Former explosive batsman Ijaz Ahmed has also been offered a role as the fielding coach of the team and would be co-working with Waqar to achieve the targets that the board has set for the team to achieve.
