Giant mobile handset manufacturer Nokia has introduced its much awaited E72 in India. Coming in immediately after the E71, which was highly well received and sold like hot cakes, the new addition to the company's E series smartphones is essentially an upgraded version of its much loved predecessor.

On the outside, the new phone is not much unlike the E71. But rearrangement of the phone's full QWERTY keyboard, upgradation of the camera to 5 megapixel and inclusion of a standard 3.5 mm audio jack, as opposed to the E71's 2.5 mm jack, make the new phone slightly better. Also, the previous phone's 360MHz CPU has been replaced with the 600MHz CPU.

The Nokia E72 comes bundled with the latest version of Nokia Messaging, which supports instant messaging in addition to giving users complete access to e-mails, both work and personal. The instant messenger feature supports all popular chat clients like Gtalk, Yahoo and Ovi Chat.

For customers who want a faster interface, the E72 is the perfect choice, as it has the latest Symbian 9.3 version.

Based on feedback sent by users of the E71, the E72 incorporates all that was missing in its predecessor. The device is priced at Rs. 22, 989.
