The State Bank of India (SBI), which is the largest public sector lender in the country, is in the planning stages for launching an expansion of operations into new foreign markets.

The State Bank of India already has two retail initiatives that are active in Singapore and in London, England. However, Australia, along with some locations in Africa, is seen as likely destination for major expansion by the bank.

New Delhi, June 9 : Controversial model Poonam Pandey, who had offered to go nude if India won the cricket World Cup, mourns the death of ace painter M. F. Husain and says she wanted him to paint her.

"RIP MFHussian its really sad day for India for such a gr8 loss... i alwayz had a wish, wanted him to paint me as he did it for Madhuri Dixit. I guess my wish wud be just a Dream!!! Just a DREAM (sic)," Poonam posted on micro-blogging site Twitter, following the news of Husain's death in London.

The painter was 95.

Though Poonam failed to keep up her promise to go nude, she is currently challenging her action-adventure skills on "Khatron Ke Khiladi Torchaar", aired on Colors.

New Delhi, June 9 : Ad filmmaker-turned-lyricist Prasoon Joshi has another role to play - he has turned composer for Prakash Jha's "Aarakshan", and says it was a wonderful experience.

Joshi, who has written four songs for the movie, has composed one song named "Kaun si dor" for the album, which has otherwise been composed by popular trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

New Delhi, June 9 : Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan condoled the demise of legendary painter M. F. Husain by remembering a 'sanjeevani booti' painting which was gifted to the actor after the accident on the sets of "Coolie".

"MF Hussain, artist, painter, friend ... passes away! Sad, very sad ! Many of his works and gifts adorn my home. Hussain's best painting gift to me... a Hanuman with 'sanjeevani booti' flying... given to me in Breach Candy Hospital, during Coolie episode," Amitabh posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

New Delhi, June 9 : They had a quiet wedding and immediately plunged into work! The newly wedded couple - filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actress Kalki Koechlin - hope to spend quality time together once she wraps up shooting for Dibakar Banarjee "Shanghai".

"We really want to go out for our honeymoon soon, don't know where we will head but we both like mountains and beaches, it depends on our mood and how tired we are. After I finish Dibakar's film, we will go off and spend some quality time," Kalki, who was here to launch 92.7 BIG FM's new positioning Bollywood Secrets, told IANS.

Twelve years have passed since "East Is East", the cult film on the blithe angst of the Asian diaspora in England, was made. In the sequel, which, let me quickly add, is a decent engaging and warm follow-up to the original film, the time-passage is condensed into a far more manageable time frame.
