Rabat, Morocco  - Eleven people suspected of planning terrorist acts in Morocco and Belgium have been detained in the cities of Fez and Nador in northern Morocco, police said Monday.

The ring was connected to a network of volunteers belonging to the north African branch of the al-Qaeda organization, the source said. (dpa)
