In a few days Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry will move with a joint cohesion with The Swedish Elderly Care and Public Health ministry earmarking the common areas of interest; for which thematic workshops in six fields viz antimicrobial resistance, pharmaceuticals, medical research, health policy research, alcohol policy and adolescent health will be organised and concrete work shall be seen.

This gigantic milestone shows the eagerness to progress. It not only improves the global image of India but also, strengthens the country economically and medically. With the plans carefully chalked out for the coming years it seems a clear path has been carved. Again the question to be asked here is; will the poor be able to avail these facilities?
