Momentum Logistics inks deal with United Arab Shipping Company

United Arab Shipping Company Momentum Logistics, the logistics subsidiary of UAE terminal operator Gulftainer, has entered into a contract with United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) to provide the company with logistics services.

The signing of deal with Momentum Logistics comes in line with UASC's expansion strategy and in anticipation of the arrival of some of the world's largest container ships to the region during 2011.

Under the arrangement, Momentum will provide UASC with dedicated warehouse space and other logistics services, in addition to their regular business at the company's container repair and washing facilities.

UASC is a major player in the Middle East region and adjacent markets, in container shipping. The company's network covers over 200 ports and destinations worldwide.
