Micromax might launch new 3D smartphone this monthIt is believed that leading Indian handset maker, Micromax is planning to launch a new 3D smartphone in the Indian market this month.

The new A115 Canvas 3D smartphone, which is successor to its quad-core device Canvas HD A116 is believed to have a 3D-enabled camera. Some reports have claimed that leaked pictures of the handset have appeared on micro blogging site, Twitter. Some believe that the smartphone is in advanced stages of development and the company will launch the device soon.

The smartphone is expected to come with an optimized for version Android 4.1.2 and dual core MediaTek processor. It is believed to come with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a 8MP camera on the rear above an LED flash. The smarptohne is also likely to come with a 2MP auxiliary webcam for video conferencing.

The pricing details of the Micromax A115 Canvas 3D are still unknown and the company has not commented on the leaked pictures and reports about the existence of the smartphone. Some suggest that the A115 Canvas 3D might be priced at around Rs. 15,000.
