Melbourne, Jan 20 : Australian captain Michael Clarke could win Allan Border Medal for an unprecedented fifth time, a recent voting has revealed.

Clarke has been the standout Test batsman in the world during the past year, though he missed half of Australia's one-day matches because of injury, News. com. au reports.

If Clarke wins the medal this time again, he is going to go past Ricky Ponting, who has four, the report added.
