Moscow, June 22 : Tennis champion Maria Sharapova ventured into business with a sweets line by the name of Sugarpova, and now she has plans to branch out into the cosmetics and fashion markets.

The 26-year-old had recently launched her sweets range for department store Selfridges.

"I really do (want to expand). I see it going into cosmetics, and then fashion. Creatively, I've always had a thing for fashion, so I would love it. But that's down the line," femalefirst. co. uk quoted Sharapova as saying.

The tennis player admits her personal style is quite classic as she usually sticks to simple, well-tailored pieces, but she also thinks it's important to have fun with clothes and to be able to express yourself through accessories and bold colours.

"It's very individual, that's what I love about it. It's very experimental - people can express their own style and personality through their clothing and accessories," she said.

"What I love about (fashion) is that there are no rules. That's what makes it fun. On a day-to-day basis my style is pretty casual. Overall I think my style is pretty elegant - I pay a lot of attention to the details in clothes. I think the material and the tailoring really make an outfit," she added. (IANS)
