Man, accused of making harassing and obscene calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, arrested by FBIIt has arrested a San Francisco man accused of making harassing and obscene telephone calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, says the FBI.

NBC News has reported that Gregory Lee Giusti, 48, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. He faces charges of violating a federal law against making calls "to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person at the called number or who receives the communications."

It was further reported that Giusti is accused of making dozens of telephone calls to Pelosi's homes in Washington and California, along with calls to the business office of her husband. Law enforcement officials allege he mentioned Pelosi's home address and said if she wanted to see it again, she should not support the healthcare overhaul bill that has already passed.

One official told NBC News, "The calls were so numerous, the decision was made that something had to be done."

It was further noted by the broadcaster that This is the second arrest of this kind in as many days. Federal prosecutors Tuesday charged a Washington state man with making repeated threatening telephone calls to the Seattle office of U. S. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash. (With Inputs from Agencies)
