Lippi to quit coaching when he leaves the Azzurri

italyRome - Italy's national team coach Marcello Lippi has said he won't continue coaching after he ends his stint at the helm of the world champions.

Speaking Wednesday on the web TV show KlausCondicio, Lippi said that "officially, after the experience with the Nazionale you won't see me coach a club."

He added: "Never again, also because I wouldn't be able, right after a game that possibly didn't go well, stand for one hour and half to answer questions from various commentators. I could not do it. It would be too much for me."

Lippi, 61, is back on the bench of the Azzurri for a second term since the summer of 2008. In 2006 he steered Italy to win their fourth World Cup in Germany.
