Australia has expelled a diplomat of Israel for the killing at Dubai. Australia has accused Israel being behind the fake Australian passports matter which was linked to the Dubai murder case. A person named Mahmoud al- Mabhouh was killed in a hotel room in Dubai on 19th January.

The Foreign Minister of Australia has informed that these are not the behavior of a friend nation. UK has also taken the same action after finding Israel behind the fake UK passport in that plot. UK had expelled a diplomat of Israel in March.

But the Foreign Ministry of Israel has said that they are quite disappointed with the decision of Australia. Four fake Australian passports were used in the killing of Mahmoud in Dubai and the original passports were belonging to the Australian citizens staying in Israel.

Australian government has said that the police investigation is quite sure on the fact that Israel was behind the fake passport matter. Stephen Smith, the foreign minister has asked Israel to withdraw its diplomat soon. Fake passport of France, UK, Australia, Germany and Ireland were used in that operation as well.
