IBM has signed an IT services deal with the Indian subsidiary of Perfetti Van Melle, world’s third largest confectionary group, for an undisclosed amount.

Under the deal, IBM would design and build a 1,000 sq ft green data center, provide the networking infrastructure for the data center as well as offer end-to-end facilities management services to the client.

IBM aims to provide PVM India a robust infrastructure management, supporting its ambitious growth plans for the country.

PVM India, which manufactures and markets popular confectionary brands like Center Fresh, Alpenliebe, Mentos, Chlor-Mint and Happydent, among others, operates one of the largest distribution networks and is among the fastest growing FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) companies in India.
