Successor of the HTC Touch Diamond, the HTC Touch Diamond2 is 13.7mm thick device boasting of its 3.2-inch high-resolution wide-screen VGA display, 5 megapixel auto focus camera, and a slew of other features.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 features new touch sensitive zoom bar for faster zooming of web pages, emails, text messages, photos or documents. The phone sports the HTC's latest TouchFLO 3D interface.

The Touch Diamond2 comes equipped with Push Internet technology, which facilitates faster loading of web pages on the mobile phone, and helps making internet experience better on slower GPRS networks.   

The Touch Diamond2 offers single view contact information in the form of the individual conversation history of contacts irrespective of the mode of communication – voice, text or e-mail.

The Touch Diamond2 runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1, but it can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5. Other features of the HTC Touch Diamond2 include gravity sensor, an ambient light sensor, expandable memory, support for 3G, Wi-Fi, EDGE and Bluetooth with A2DP. The HTC Touch Diamond2 is priced at Rs 29,990.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 weighs 117.5 grams against 110 grams of the HTC Touch Diamond. The Touch Diamond2 features a 5 megapixel colour camera with auto focus, while the HTC Touch Diamond is equipped with 3.2 megapixel colour camera with auto focus. The Touch Diamond2 has 3.2-inch WVGA resolution screen, while the HTC Touch Diamond has 2.8-inch VGA resolution screen.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 has 512 MB ROM and 288 MB RAM, while its predecessor has 256 MB ROM and 192 MB RAM. The HTC Touch Diamond2 is equipped with 1100 mAh battery, while the HTC Touch Diamond has 900 mAh battery.
