HTC launches new ‘Rhyme’ smartphone in New York

HTC launches new ‘Rhyme’ smartphone in New York Taiwanese smartphone maker, HTC has launched a new thinner and sleeker smartphone called, the HTC Rhyme in New York aiming to improve sales in the US market.

The HTC Rhyme smartphone features a 3.7-inch screen and will be powered by Google' Android software. HTC said in a statement that the device will come with several complementary accessories such as a docking station, sports armband and tangle-free headphones. It will come in a unibody design in a total of three colors.

HTC CEO Peter Chou said that HTC is showing its commitment to the consumers by launching this "innovative design and fashion-style phone."

HTC Rhyme will be available in the US market on Verizon Wireless in the coming weeks. The company will launch the device in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific sometimes next month.
