HP PCs Worldwide to have Microsoft’s Bing as the Default Search Engine

HP, MicrosoftThe Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas will see Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announcing some minor pieces of news during his keynote this evening.

The foremost being that now HP PCs worldwide will have Microsoft's Bing search engine as the default search engine; where initially it was only restricted to HP PCs in the U. S. and Canada.

Apart from this, Microsoft's MSN will also be the default home page on HP PCs.

With the help of Microsoft's Mediaroom IPTV platform, users are able to stream content not only on their TV but also on their PCs and phones.

Over the next three years, over 1,000 arcade-style games would be available on a new 'Game Room' on the Xbox's online service, Xbox Live.

It was forwarded by Microsoft that presently, the service has over 20 million members. They have gone up from 17 million a year ago.

The users will be able to get their hands on the controller-free 'Project Natal' for the Xbox in time for holidays.
