Kathmandu, Dec 23 : Chief of the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN), Ian Martin today said new recruitments by the Nepal Army or the Maoist People''s Liberation Army (PLA) would be a breach of agreements related to the peace process.

New Delhi, Dec 23 : Maldives President Mohammad ''Anni'' Nasheed arrived here on a three-day visit to India.

He is accompanied by a high level delegation including a number of ministers and senior officials.

President Nasheed is scheduled to meet Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Leader of the Opposition L. K. Advani.

Nasheed will also call on his Indian counterpart Pratibha Patil who will host a banquet in his honour.
