Gaming firm Zynga opens India operations; Plans, to hire 100 techies

zyngaThe largest social game provider, Zynga announces to open its first office outside United States in Bangalore. It has plan to acquire large scale web Infrastructure along with hiring 100 tech professionals which include computer scientist and engineers for the game development.

As per a senior official of the company, Indian operation would focus on game development and large-scale infrastructure to support delivery of Zynga games to millions of players ever day.

According to the data by Internet and Mobile Association of India, India is projected to become the third biggest online market with more than 81 million internet users by 2013 following China and U. S. which is one of the main reason Zynga games to expand its footprint in India.

Mark Pincus CEO of the Zynga added "By setting up a center in India, Zynga has opened up a new market of opportunities for developers and engineers to be a part of the rapidly expanding social network games platform. Social gaming combines the best of web technical talent with game storytelling talent."
