Downloadable Content to be Released for BioShock 2, DICE Explains BFBC2 Servers, Rockstar Continues with "Eye Of Sauron"

Lots of interesting things are going on in the world of gaming, while on one hand plans have been confirmed for BioShock 2 downloadable content, DICE has gone ahead to explain its BFBC2 server policy. Rockstar is not far behind, with the group going ahead with its "Eye of Sauron" theme, without offering any explanations or confirmations.

The BioShock 2 DLC is coming for a shooter sequel for the title, which is currently in works. "Absolutely! We are working on pretty aggressive plans for DLC and that's actually something that is already under-way", said Kent Hudson, Senior Systems Designer for 2K Marin.

DICE has gone ahead and explained that there is "no profit" involved in "forcing" players of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to go ahead and rent dedicated servers, instead of coming up with their own. "This does not earn DICE a profit. But we will see where the game goes and support it post launch", said Van Dyke from BFBC2.

Rockstar has continued to have some fun with its "Eye Of Sauron" concept, without giving out any explanations as to why Rockstar Game's New York team is being addressed with the phase for over a week now. Speculations are that Rockstar might be going the LOTR way now.
